The Founder Showcase, Silicon Valley's premier startup pitch and networking event, is coming up once again on Tuesday, Feb. 1st in Mountain View. This quarterly event brings together over 300 investors, founders, and members of the press for one action-packed night to network, hear talks from leading CEOs, and help build a startup company to greatness. The last two events have been won by Founder Institute companies (Seeport and BreezyPrint), and there looks to be many FI companies in the mix for this competition as well. Plus, the CEO of the Founder Institute, Adeo Ressi, is the event emcee.
This 6th Founder Showcase will feature a keynote speech by George Zachary, General Partner of Charles River Ventures. George is one of Silicon Valley’s brightest investors, having led early investments in Twitter, Yammer, Scribd, Shutterfly, and more. Guests will also see pitches from 10 hot technology startups in the open pitch competition, and network over food and drinks in a demo table area where many other startups showcase their wares. The event is designed to democratize access to Silicon Valley, so tickets are affordable, and the Pitch Competition is free. Tickets start at just $40 - but the last four events have sold out so register today.
