SeePort, a Graduate of the inaugural Bay Area Founder Institute Semester, was just named as a "Top 10 Mobile Startup of 2011" by Laptop Magazine. According to them, SeePort should be recognized as a startup with potential because "the unique always-on nature of ufone (SeePort's product) gives it a solid chance at making a dent in what's still a very young market."
SeePort, founded by Lauren Elliot, makes video wifi devices and software that connect people with live, real time video and chat. The company also won our 4th Founder Showcase this past August.
