The Founder Institute, the world’s most proven network for turning ideas into fundable companies, is announcing their OpenToStart program, tailored specifically to help those affected by the tech layoffs who are considering pursuing entrepreneurship.
OpenToStart is a free online bootcamp for anyone who is open to starting a company in 2023. Through a series of interactive workshops and online networking events, this 4-week program is designed to help you collaborate with like-minded people, get feedback on your ideas, learn the startup basics, and ultimately decide if starting a company is right for you - right now.
“We’re anticipating 2023 shaping up to have the largest migration of talent from big tech companies to startups we have ever seen,” says Jonathan Greechan, Co-Founder and CEO at Founder Institute. “We believe many of these people will put their skills towards starting, or joining, a startup. With such a large amount of talent coming into the space and a record amount of dry powder for investment still available, things are aligning for a cambrian explosion of innovation and technical progress these next few years.”
The OpenToStart program brings the 13 years of experience Founder Institute has in launching over 6,000 high-growth startups to an even earlier demographic.
The program begins January 4th, 2022. Aspiring entrepreneurs can learn more about the free program and apply here: https://fi.co/open
