Today we are excited to announce the launch of our newest location - Perth, Australia!
Our second Australian chapter is just around the corner, as the 4-month program is slated to start on February 20th. The program is open to existing and prospective technology founders of all kinds - with or without an idea, young or old, and with a full-time job or unemployed.

If you apply by the Early Application Deadline on Sunday, January 13th, you get to take the Predictive Admissions Test for free (typically $25), and have the best chance of acceptance.

Perth is an an ideal location for the Founder Institute; while the fast-growing city is best known for its mineral, oil and gas resources, it also has a nascent entrepreneurship community centred around Spacecubed, a co-working space that has shown rapid growth since it's opening earlier this year. The rapidly growing city also shares a timezone with major business centers in Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong.
The Perth chapter will be lead by Dash Dhakshinamoorthy and Claire Robertson. Dash is a Malaysian-born serial entrepreneur, and is the Founder of StartupMalaysia.org. Claire has several years of hands-on experience in a successful UK startup, MedicAnimal.com, and is involved in Perth Startup Weekend both as a member of the organisational committee and as a mentor.
Expected Mentors for the Perth program include;
- Adam Yap, COO of Health Engine
- Adeo Ressi, CEO of TheFunded.com and the Founder Institute
- Brodie Mc Culloch, Managing Director of Spacecubed
- David McKinney, Founder & CEO of Filter Squad
