Codemi (Collaboration Academy Indonesia) is a website that is dedicated to providing online education in Indonesia through video, audio, and presentations. The story was covered by Soham Adwani on Tech In Asia.
The company, and its co-founder and CEO Zaki Falimbany, are Graduates of the Jakarta Founder Institute.
Codemi's inception came about when three co-founders wanted an easier way to acquire new skill sets. Since founding in 2013, Codemi currently has only a few business-related courses, as the team hopes to narrow its focus for the time being. However, there are plans of expanding the website's curriculum to include additional subject categories in the second quarter of 2014. Since monetization is not the company's current priority, this service is available for free.
Despite the presence of other online learning sites in Indonesia, including Medidu and Wikasa, Codemi aims to set themselves apart from their competitors through exclusive content and partnerships.
