The Founder Institute recently teamed up with Venture Village to offer a scholarship to the founder with the best one-sentence pitch in Berlin. After much deliberation, we have finally selected a winner. Congratulations to Michael Ronen, co-founder of Capsuling.Me for winning a full scholarship to the Winter 2012 Berlin Founder Institute.
Here was Michael’s winning pitch:
"Our Company is developing a location based mobile app to help art fans in big cities who consume videos and music on their smartphones and tablets to overcome the overflow of irrelevant media by presenting them only relevant and meaningful content depending on their current location and time, with the special sauce of exclusive site-specific content created by high profile artists in the community."
An honorable mention went out to the team behind RydeMyPony.com who describes their company as “a P2P location based Pony rental platform to help Pony owners and Pony lovers finally collaboratively consume Ponies together”. According to Adeo, what set Capsuling.Me’s pitch apart is that it was “detailed and clearly demonstrates the product, market and customer problem”.
