Earlier today, Adeo Ressi and Adriana Herrera, Founder of Fashioning Change, were featured on ABC News to discuss the success of female graduates from the Founder Institute. Adriana is a Graduate of the San Diego chapter, and has since achieved significant business milestones with her ethical and eco-friendly fashion startup. She attributes much of her success to the Foudner Institute's wealth of resources and mentors available worldwide, and of course, a great idea paired with a passion for change.
According to Adeo, now is the “best time in human history” to build a startup, as the world’s access to internet and technology devices is increasing exponentially, making the opportunities for success limitless. This may be particularly true for women, given that the recently-graduated Summer 2012 Founder Institute sessions in Silicon Valley and Chicago both graduated classes comprised of over 50% women.
