Rentcycle, a Graduate of the Silicon Valley Founder Institute, just closed a $1.4 million round from a "who's who" list of prominent investors: Andreesen Horowitz, SV Angel, Founder Collective, Collaborative Fund, Amicus Capital, Max Levchin and Farhad Mohit.
Collaborative Fund led the round, and as part of the funding Rentcycle will be adding two rockstars advisors as well: Netflix Founder Marc Randolph, and OpenTable Founder Chuck Templeton.
Rentcycle is on online rental marketplace where consumers can search, compare and rent anything online, and where rental businesses can promote their products and store, take online reservations, and generate revenue around the clock.
