Dating website 2RedBeans has appointed Ignite PR as its retained UK agency to expand exposure in the UK market. The California-based company, founded in 2010, is the leading dating site for Chinese Americans and Canadians, and is now looking to attract the European market. The report was originally delivered by David Prior in a Prolific North article titled “Chinese dating site 2RedBeans picks up Ignite PR for UK push.”

2RedBeans and its founder Q Zhao are graduates of the Bay Area Founder Institute. 2RedBeans, named after the ancient Chinese symbol for love, is a dating website for Chinese singles.

The company has already acquired 500,000 users in North America. And in a recent trend, almost 60,000 Chinese students started their undergraduate studies at British universities last year alone. The company has enjoyed a phenomenal growth in the USA and Canada markets, so to increase market share the company will expand its offerings into the UK.

There is a large and growing Chinese population in the UK and we are confident they will enjoy using 2RedBeans as much as users have on this side of the Atlantic.”
