Colorado has a fast growing startup ecosystem, and entrepreneurs here are lucky to have so many resources available to help them in their journey. However, many people don't know about all of the resources available, the differences between them, or what resources are right for them. At this in-person panel event, we will gather representatives from different entrepreneurial organizations, to outline the local resources and provide tips on how to build a startup in Colorado. - Allison Seabeck, Executive Director @ The Warehouse Business Accelerator. The Warehouse Business Accelerator connects Stage II businesses in Northern Colorado with resources and funding to help them scale and accelerate growth. We are growing business beyond the garage.
- George Hristov, Community Manager @ Colorado Startups. The purpose of Colorado Startups is to provide a starting place and a growing place for entrepreneurs building the next generation of BIG companies here in Colorado. This community is comprised of three social groups (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Slack) to help entrepreneurs, from first-time founders to seasoned executives.
- John Moore, Partnership Manager @ GAN (Global Accelerator Network). GAN is a highly curated community of independent Accelerators, Partners, and Investors. They are obsessed with giving startups the power to create and grow their businesses wherever they are.
- Kevin Kudra, Director of Operations @ Rockies Venture Club. RVC is one of the most active Angel groups in the country! The club runs a professional due diligence team that produces reports that are best in breed and allow RVC to syndicate with other Angel Groups across the U.S. Additionally, RVC hosts multiple investor forums across the front range, effectively pooling together a greater amount of wisdom and capital in Colorado.
- Teresa Densmore, Manager @ The Commons on Champa. The Commons on Champa is a nonprofit community resource and economic development initiative established to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in building an inclusive, vibrant local economy.
