Only 15% of all startups in Germany have female co-founders. Studies show despite an equal distribution in entrepreneur spirit between men and women, there’s still a long road ahead of us when it comes to achieving equality in entrepreneurship. What are the reasons for this gender gap? And what are the benefits of equality/ diversity? What actions can we take in narrowing the gap and what are learnings and best practices from female founders and entrepreneurs? Media Lab Bayern and the Founder Institute Munich are joining forces on October 8, to find answers to these questions.
Together with female powerhouses of Munich’s startup szene, as well as co-founders and sidepreneurs, we will discuss what can be done to support female founders and change the gender distribution of the startup landscape. Let's unite on October 8, discuss how to change the status quo and take action for a more equal future!
