Founder Hotseat: Pitch Your Startup to Houston Investors & Advisors
Make the most of 1min. to share about your startup and get feedback from local experts
Who should Attend?
- Anyone who wants to hear actionable feedback from leading entrepreneurs
- Team members and Founders who are a member of a local, early-stage startup and wants to practice their pitch
- Founders who have an idea for a new startup, or are futher along in the development of their company
- Experienced investors considering investing in a local startup company
- Local startup mentors and advisors willing to share expert advice on the pitches
Who Pitches?
There will be a sign up board at the event. It's possible that Directors may select some people from the audience to pitch. We will do as many pitches as time allows. To prepare, begin work on a one sentence pitch at https://fi.co/one-sentence-pitch and stretch it to be up to 1min. long. Feedback will be from 5-10mins depending on participation.
Spectators are welcome!
Even if you don't want to pitch, you are invited to register, meet the Directors and other FI - Houston Community Members in attendance, hear startup ideas, and watch how the experts analyze and critique new businesses.
How to Find us at The Cannon
If the primary doors are secured, please access the building via the Kitchen door located at the rear-left of the primary building off of the patio and turf lawn. The Theater is located on the second floor. Follow the signage and use the elevator or a set of stairs to go up and walk to the Theater (located on the north side) above the central "Steps" and the large central vidoe screen.
