Over the course of 15 weeks, our founders have worked tirelessly on validating their ideas cutting across green/renewable energy, oil and gas, mobility services, artificial intelligence, and more. Ajuma Ataguba - Managing Director @ Founder Institute Abuja: Ajuma Ataguba is a global startup ecosystem leader, and business consultant, with a focus on social entrepreneurship, with over 30 years of experience working in the sectors of agriculture, education, technology, and international trade. She has specialized skills in project management/turnkey projects, business planning, coaching, and entrepreneurship as well as a Cochran Fellow, Mashav Scholar, and Swedish Institute Alumna. She is currently the Managing Director, for Founder Institute (Abuja) and CEO of The Learning Gate, a social enterprise development consulting firm mobilizing local experts in Nigeria to identify and support local enterprises at early, seed, and growth stages through entrepreneurial training, business development services, incubation, access to finance and market linkage advisory. She has provided business mentoring and coaching to a cohort of fashion technology entrepreneurs under the British Council, Creative Enterprise Support Programme. Until recently she was a National Export Strategy Consultant at TFO Canada an organization that is the primary Canadian provider of information, advice, and contact for businesses in developing and emerging countries that are interested in exporting to Canada. So far, more than 350 Women-owned SMEs in the Agriculture, Apparel, and ICT sectors have been supported to develop product export strategies and raise funds in multiple rounds. Ajuma is a venture partner at a private equity firm and has successfully run accelerator programs for over 50 technology start-ups in varied sectors. She has certifications in Social Entrepreneurship from Wharton and Copenhagen Business School.

Engr. Simbi Wabote - Executive Secretary @ Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB): Engr. Simbi Wabote is the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board (NCDMB). He is an experienced Oil and Gas professional with a proven track record in Engineering, Supply Chain, stakeholder management, Local Business Development (Local Content), and General Management. He has over 20 years of top-flight experience in International, Multinational, and National business environments. Engr. Simbi is a Change Management Agent with a well-developed ability to implement strategic business models. He is a stakeholder focused with talent for identifying and building long-lasting relationships for business success operations. Most recently as Shell C&P Global Local Content Manager, he has the responsibility of developing Local Content Strategy for Royal Dutch Shell (RDS) Upstream, and Downstream operations in addition to ensuring implementation for business outcomes. He has developed local procurement strategies, local and international partnership development strategies, cross-functional team management, and the alignment of global supply chains with local supply chains in countries like Nigeria, Gabon, Brunei, Oman, Kazakhstan, Australia, Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, Americas, USA and new frontier countries for Shell. He has very sound technical and business competence with proficient skills in Civil/Structural Engineering and Project Management, Local Content Strategic Analysis & Development with particular attention to Local Supplier Development; Capacity Building; Local-Foreign Partnership Development; Government and internal stakeholders Management.

Abdulmalik Halilu - Director, Planning, Research & Statistics @ Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB): Mr. Abdulmalik Halilu is the Director of Planning, Research & Statistics (Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board).
