Many people don't know there is an abundance of Kampala startup mentors and experts that are ready (and willing) to help founders launch and grow their business. On this upcoming open Zoom meeting, you can meet and build relationships with some of Kampala's startup mentors and advisors, including the Local Leaders of the Uganda Fall 2022 program. The majority of this event will be devoted to answering your questions and giving you feedback on your business, so come ready!
Speakers:
1. Alex Ponton, is an investment manager with Uganda-based IUNGO CAPITAL - an impact investment firm that bridges the missing middle finance gap in East Africa and a co-founder of BORESHA Technologies - a Ugandan startup building a financial marketplace for smallholder farmers.
2. David Wangolo, CFA, is an investment professional & private equity specialist based in Uganda working with PEARL CAPITAL PARTNERS - a specialist agriculture investment firm that has been investing in small and medium sized East African agribusinesses since 2006.
