Over the last five years, there has been a massive increase in investment flowing to impact startups. To help investors interested in the space, the FI Venture Network will be hosting a private, 'Impact Investment Roundtable' on September, 11th on Zoom. This intimate, invite-only event will gather experienced investors to discuss the latest trends in impact investing and feature several short pitches from some of the fastest-growing impact startups from the Founder Institute's global portfolio. If you plan to invest in companies making a positive impact in the world, then don't miss this exclusive FI Venture Network event.
This event is invite-only. All unauthorized registrations will be voided.

The goal of this event is to bring together investors in an open and collaborative Zoom Meeting format to discuss trends and best practices for investing in impact startups. 

Investors in the discussion include:

  • Emily McMahan - General Partner at AIN Ventures, a venture fund that has invested in many impact companies across space, health, climate tech, and more.
  • Ryan Micheletti - Head of Global Operations for the Founder Institute and General Partner at The Veteran Fund.
  • Jennifer Hatch - Fellow at Transform.VC, a minority-owned investment firm that backs resilient, ambitious founders across a variety of industries.
  • Hugo Lara Ruiz - Sr. Investor at Village Capital, an early-stage capital fund backing entrepreneurs who are building emergent solutions for social, economic, and environmental challenges around the world.

Impact startups pitching include:

  • Redivivus - providing essential technology for existing infrastructure to scale with the growing demand for battery recycling. 
  • NIU NIU - revolutionizing e-waste management by optimizing the classification and recycling of electronic waste and maximizing the recovery of critical minerals.
  • Ned - Helping provide the rails and underwriting engine so small businesses and commercial lenders can deploy pent-up trillions across new financial products.
  • Palki Motors -  pioneering electric vehicle manufacturing with innovative, low-cost mini-electric vehicles, designed and produced using a modular production approach.
