Prior to teaching, Kevin successfully launched and sold several technology businesses and was twice recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private businesses.
- Laurence Hayward - Venture Partner at Independence Equity - A founding partner of Independence Equity, he brings expertise in resource efficiency investing and co-founded Cornerstone Angels, which has backed over 80 companies since 2006. As founder/CEO of VentureLab and former President of Vcapital.com, Hayward has driven innovation in venture funding. Previously, he led global marketing for Arthur Andersen's Emerging Company Services and represented the firm at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
