Week 1 – Understanding the Firm Objective: The Resident becomes oriented with the firm’s strategy, systems, and expectations. The Resident will: - Establish the weekly cadence, communication preferences, and success metrics with the manager. - Review firm materials, systems, and secure access to Decile Hub. - Analyze the firm’s thesis, LP archetypes, and positioning.

Week 2 – Data Cleanup & Enrichment Objective: The Resident strengthens the firm’s foundational data across LPs, deals, and the portfolio. All candidates to successfully complete VI are Decile Hub certified and advanced users of the platform.

Week 4: LP Research & Fundraising Support (Part 1) Goal: Support LP pipeline development and learn fundraising best practices. Learning Focus: Understand LP archetypes, motivations, and how they align with the firm’s story.

Week 5: Marketing, Brand & Content Goal: Enhance the firm’s public narrative and visibility while maintaining compliance with General Solicitation rules. Before publishing or sharing any external content, ensure you have read and understood the guidelines that prohibit public communication about the fund, its fundraising activities, or its investment thesis until the fund is fully closed. Learning Focus: Learn how venture firms and fund managers build credibility, visibility, and trust through compliant storytelling and professional communication.
