Discover the journey of two Brazilian entrepreneurs who received millionaire contributions in the midst of the pandemic. Gabriel Engel, founder of the open source chat platform Rocket.Chat , created in November 2016, astartup gaucha, received a R $ 100 million (US $ 18.9 million) international series in February 2021. Rocket.Chat is one of the most internationalized companies in Brazil. Owner of a communication platform, the company's product is used in more than 170 countries and has more than 16 million users around the planet.
Piero Contezini, founder and president of Asaas, a Joinville startup that received an investment of R $ 37 million in a round led by Bradesco's InovaBra Ventures in October 2020. Assas created a tool capable of automating payments for small businesses. With their service, it is possible to generate payment slips, access financial management software and even charge customers automatically. In the past six months, nearly 50,000 customers have used fintech's services.
