The Bloom Fellowship is awarded to the most extraordinary applicant from the Bloom Community, giving them the opportunity to enroll in the Perth Founder Institute for free. The recipient will be recognized as somebody with the utmost potential to become a successful technology entrepreneur.

The Perth Founder Institute is excited to partner with an organization that shares our goal of fostering a strong local startup ecosystem: Bloom, a venture founded in our desire to encourage young Western Australians to put their ideas into action. Through the Bloom Fellowship, everyone from the Bloom community is invited to apply to the Perth Founder Institute for free, and the best overall applicant from the community will receive a Fellowship to participate in the program for free as well ($1,200 USD value).

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the Bloom Fellowship for the Perth 2017 Semester, you must complete your application and admissions test by June 27, 2016, using this link.

Grant: The recipient of the Bloom Fellowship will be awarded within 5 days after the deadline.

Applications to the Perth 2017 Semester close this Friday (2017-07-16). 

If you could use expert training and advice to launch a technology startup in Perth, then apply today.

In the Founder Institute's four-month, part-time program, promising startup entrepreneurs “learn by doing” and launch a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. Plus, aspiring founders are not required to quit their day job to participate, so they can begin building a business around their ideas without putting their livelihood at risk.

In only 8 years of operation, over 2,300 graduate companies across 170 cities have used the Founder Institute to validate their idea, develop their plans, refine their product, build an advisory board, prepare for seed funding, and more. 

The Founder Institute has recently been recognized one of the leaders in the Perth startup ecosystem, according to a report commissioned by the City of Perth and compiled by the behavioral analytics team at Boundlss.

The Perth Chapter will be led by Dash Dhakshinamoorthy and Claire Robertson. Dash is a Malaysian-born serial entrepreneur, and is the Founder of Claire has several years of hands-on experience in a successful UK startup,, and is involved in Perth Startup Weekend both as a member of the organisational committee and as a mentor.
