Congratulations to Spikes - winner of the 12th Founder Showcase Pitch Competition!
On Wednesday, November 7th, eight early-stage startups pitched on stage in San Francisco hoping to wow a judging panel comprised of five of Silicon Valley’s top VCs and win over an audience of over 600 investors, press, and media. The competition was tough but ultimately Spikes came out on top and took home the title of Founder Showcase champion.
Kym McNicholas, writer for PandoDaily and interviewing journalist at the 12th Founder Showcase was the first to break the news, describing Spikes as a serious contender for Symantec due to their ability to virtualize the browser in the cloud, making getting hacked when browsing the web virtually impossible.
