Congratulations to the Winners of the 2013 Founder Institute Graduate Awards

Posted by Joe Garza on 2014-05-19

Many companies have made considerable progress since graduating from the Founder Institute. Held in conjunction with the Founder Showcase, the Founder Institute Graduate Awards recognizes the companies that have acquired the most traction across the team, product, user adoption, and investment in 2013.

Last week we held a private, VIP Awards Luncheon, with attending Founder Institute Graduates, Directors, and Mentors from all six continents where we operate.

The Founder Institute has over 1100 Graduate Companies, and today, we'd like to make public the winners of the Founder Institute 2013 Graduate Awards:

Best Overall Company Award, AND Best Female CEO Award: Realty Mogul

Realty Mogul, led by CEO and Co-Founder Jilliene Helman, is a real estate crowdfunding platform that allows investors to browse and screen real estate investments, view details of an investment, and sign legal documents online.

Realty Mogul made incredible progress in 2013, including winning the Founder Showcase, closing a $500,000 seed round, and growing their userbase by multiple orders of magnitude. This progress in 2013 helped Jillene and the company close a $9 million Series A in early 2014.

As a result, Realty Mogul is the first Founder Institute Graduate to take home two awards: the "Best Overall Company Award", AND the "Best Female CEO Award".
