Mohr Davidow’s Katherine Barr Announced as Second #FounderShowcase Judge
Today we are excited to announce the second of five judges serving on our Judging Panel at the 12th Founder Showcase. Joining August Capital’s David Hornik will be Katherine Barr, Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures. At Mohr Davidow Katherine is focuses primarily on digital media, consumer Internet, and mobile sectors. A few notable companies she has worked with inlcude Ticketfly, PunchTab, Massive Health, Retention Science, and Visible Measures.
An advocate for innovation and technology, Katherine believes “Entrepreneurs change the world because they find a path to change that the rest of the world can’t see”.
Prior to Mohr Davidow, Katherine worked as a Negotiator at Vantage Partner for companies such as IBM, Cisco, Applied Materials, and HP, was on the founding team of a communications technology startup called HSA, and was on the marketing team for ACCESS Systems USA, a global software solutions provider for mobile devices. She also teaches a yearly Professional Education Negotiation seminar for the School of Engineering at Stanford and is an advisor to Samasource, on the Organizing Committee for C100, an advisor to 500Startups and i/o ventures, and founding sponsor of Startup2Startup.
Joining David Hornik and Katherine Barr will be 3 additional Judges which we plan to announce later this week. At the event the Judges will help us launch several early stage startups to greatness as they evaluate and provide feedback for participants of both our Pitch Competition and Demo Table Competition.
