Retailigence, a hyperlocal marketing platform that drives qualified foot traffic into retail stores by matching them with consumer demand, continues to make headlines. Last week they were selected by Red Herring in the "2012 Top 100 Companies in the Americas". According to the publication, "this exceptional group of companies are among the most innovative, unique and promising companies selected from a pool of hundreds from across the region. The Top 100 were judged on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, IP creation, CAGR, execution of strategy, and disruption in their respective industries."

Retailigence is a Graduate of the Silicon Valley Founder Institute, which has an Application Deadline this Sunday, June 3rd. If you or somebody you know could use expert training and feedback to launch a technology company in 2012, then click here to apply today

Earlier this year, Retailigence announced major partnerships with two of the largest shopping app providers in mobile: ShopSavvy, and Catalogue by TheFind. In addition, the company was named in TheStreet's "5 Startups Big Tech is Eyeing in 2012", and in Website Magazine's "13 Super-Startups to Watch", and announced a $2.6 million funding round.

You can read the story on RedHerring here, and below is a picture of Retailigence's Founder, Jeremy Geiger, accepting the award.

We look forward to seeing what other great news Retailigence has in store for the rest of 2012.
