How to Deliver an Engaging Presentation, by Glen Hellman

Posted by Amity Sims on Jan 25, 2013

Inside FI gives you exclusive access inside the training sessions of the Founder Institute. To get updates when we release new videos, follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our weekly newsletter here.

In this talk from the Washington DC Founder Institute, Glen Hellman explains how to deliver a memorable presentation. Whether it be pitching to investors or showing off your newest business plan, Glen says “you have to be intentional when presenting. It's not just going through the motions”.

Glen is a Principal at Driven Forward LLC, a firm that supports entrepreneurs and venture investors by providing strategic guidance, interim executive leadership services, and executive coaching. He is also a writer for Tech Cocktail and the author of the blog, Forward Thinking.

Along with having a few simple slides, Glen says “the most important element of a presentation is how well you can keep your audiences attention. If they’re not focused on you, you've failed... dare to be different”.

In addition to regularly mentoring at the Washington DC Founder Institute, Glen will be sharing his expertise in Peru at the first-ever Lima Founder Institute. If you could benefit from expert training and feedback to launch a technology startup in Lima, click here to apply today.
