This 10-day course is online and constrained to 2.5 hours per day, fitting into nearly any work schedule. It is designed specifically for:
Jonathan is the Co-Founder & CEO of the Founder Institute, a global startup accelerator that has helped startups raise nearly $2BN across 200+ cities and 95+ countries. He has over 15 years of experience working directly with pre-seed and seed-stage startups, accelerators, angels, funds, and LPs.
Everything needed to learn the skills to raise startup funding in 2023 - in the shortest possible amount of time.
Momentum is critical to fundraising, yet many founders immediately halt their progress by being unprepared. We will start with a quick orientation and then jump right into funding preparation.
99% of investors will never invest in you, because you don't fit their stage or thesis. This session will teach you how to qualify a targeted list of investors and be efficient with your time.
Effective outreach combines research, networking, concise communication, and proper follow-up. This session focuses on building relationships and an outreach plan that gets results.
The best fundraisers craft a story about where the world is headed, and why their business will benefit. This session will cover everything you need to deliver an effective pitch.
The first week concludes with an open networking session with your cohort peers, with (optional) assignments and reading to deepen your understanding of all topics covered thus far.
Closing a round requires you to build a competitive market for your company's shares quickly, and privately. Week 2 kicks off with methodologies to help you do this as efficiently as possible.
Your round size, valuation and terms are critical 'features' of the investment 'product' you are trying to sell. This session will help you determine the perfect mix for any business.
Founders are usually at a disadvantage during negotiations, because most investors are seasoned financial engineers. We'll teach you the math and motivations behind every common deal term.
Getting the wire transfers is hard enough, but as soon as you close your focus needs to shift to managing your investors in preparation for your next round. We'll show you how.
The bootcamp concludes with a post-mortem style Q&A session, followed by networking and practice pitches with your cohort peers.
After completing the bootcamp you will immediately get access to additional benefits, like:

Some founders are enrolling in this bootcamp to prepare for their fundraising journey. However, there are also other founders actively raising and enrolling to improve their fundraising process (get feedback on their pitch, refine their outreach to investors, etc).
All participants can get a full refund, for any reason, by requesting the refund via email before the start of the bootcamp.
