After raising a $2 million funding round in December, Zipmark, a digital checkbook that allows consumers to send and receive money directly from their checking accounts via web or mobile, has announced the launch of their payment platform for developers. Using ZipMark's Biller API, businesses can now offer their customers the option of using ZipMark's service to quickly and securely pay directly from their checking accounts - at only a 1% surcharge. The company and its Co-Founder, Jake Howerton, are Graduates of the New York City Founder Institute.

In addition, the IBTimes recently named the company as one of the "Top Tech Companies to Watch in Silicon Alley."
