Bruno Doneda and Henrique Flores started Contraktor just over a year ago, and already their startup company manages R$ 100M in contracts, and they plan on eventually managing a billion dollars and more.

The founders of Contraktor are Graduates of the Curitiba Founder Institute. Doneda and Flores originally worked together as lawyers and in their profession they faced a lot of small bureaucratic obstacles that caused headaches and hampered overall efficiency. It did not take long for these pressure points to inspire the two to found Contraktor. The company offers organizations of all sizes cloud-based contract management services.

Since the company opened it has not taken long for them to receive accolades and funding. It was recently named one of the top five most attractive startups in the Parana Challenge and took second place in Sedu this April, which is Panara's demo day. Doneda and Flores started the business with their own money, but they soon received a lot of interest from investors. During their first stage of fundraising in December of last year, the company was able to raise 120,000 thousand dollars. However, it was the second-round of fundraising for Contraktor that really turned heads. On the EqSeed platform, which selects the best potential companies in the market, roughly one out of one hundred are ever selected, they raised 450,000 dollars in just over 50 days. They had the highest ever average investment on the platform at 15,000 per investor.

The early success of Contraktor comes as no surprise to the professionals at EqSeed, who chose the company for their platform. In their eyes the business has all of the tools and market conditions to take-off and be very successful. What Contraktor has is the technological abilities to solve a problem that a lot of companies and organizations of all sizes have. Contraktor has a great idea for a very large potential market so their growth potential is very big. The company itself has already garnered R$ 100M in contract management in just over a year and they have no plans of sitting on their heels and enjoying their initial success. Contraktor wants to manage a billion dollars worth of contracts.

The main thing that Contraktor offers users is the ability to manage and edit documents in the cloud, which helps facilitate the control of legal agreements and completely streamline the internal processes of the companies involved in the contracts.

The two main reasons that the founders of Contraktor feel their business has been as successful as it has been, especially early on, is that the platform offers businesses technological advantages that they all are searching for, and the platform assists in cutting down on costs and saving time, which is another thing that almost all businesses large or small seek to do.

The company already employs ten people working for them not including the Doneda and Flores, and they have plans on rapid expansion. By the end of 2017 the company wants and expects to be managing one billion dollars or more in contracts. They expect their monthly users to be up to around 1,500 active, and the fully expect to have 500 or more paying customers by the end of the same period. These goals while ambitious do not seem out of the question for a company that has stormed out of the gates and has had a lot of early success. The market Contraktor serves is very large and at this point in time still wide-open. The goals the company and the founders set for themselves are realistic and obtainable. Keep your eye out for Contraktor because this company is on the rise!
