If you are planning to raise funding for an impact startup, then join us for this interactive workshop which will provide practical, step by step advice. It will feature talks from entrepreneurs who have successfully raised money for their businesses and investors funding companies. Learn expert tips, the pitfalls to avoid, what impact investors are looking for, and more.
There will be speakers and mentors from entrepreneurship, funding experts and impact investors you can pitch and connect to. Here is a list, which will be completed until the event:

  • Kai Malkwitz: Kai is a sustainability evangelist and serial entrepreneur. Kai helps investors such as VC funds in deal flow and supports various startups in the board. Kai's investment mantra: spot brilliant tech founders with the potential to become great entrepreneurs as early as possible and help them to grow.
  • Kai is Impact Director of Founder Institute Berlin
  • Mira Arnold: Mira Arnold is an experienced funding expert for impact startups. As a committed European, Mira worked in Brussels and Paris directly in the implementation of different EU Funding programmes for 20 years. Since 2012, Mira focuses on providing insight and support to startups. Mira is also a nominee in the 2022 Founder institute Mentor awards!
  • Jia Hong Shaw: Jia-Hong is a Singapore based angel investor focused on climate and decarbonisation. He supports early stage founders in pitch preparations, early strategy and general problem solving. He has invested in: energy storage, water, plastics, built environment and other pillars.
  • Gregor A. Erkel: Gregor is an entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in building and growing innovative businesses with and for international corporations, SME and start-ups. Internet pioneer, founder, mentor and angel investor.
  • Daria Markova: Daria is an entrepreneur and super skilled startup coach and mentor. Daria designed various accelerators and coaching programs. Countless founders were able to build their startup based on the learnings Daria provided
