The workshop tends to be 60% demonstration, explanation, and Q&A, and 40% hands-on practice. This includes a live demo test so you can see the whole process in detail, a complete explanation of Jonathan’s recommended testing method (hint: very simple, very fast, and very cheap), hands-on practice creating your own test tasks and moderating a test on your own product and plenty of time to answer questions about testing or any other aspect of usability.

As a highly experienced design leader, I help define and drive the future of design within organisations. I identify and help set product strategy, envision complex design ecosystems and inspire delivery teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible. I foster this through collaboration with product, engineering, marketing and other functional leaders. I achieve this by creating a clear vision of the future of experience and service design and have the courage to pursue forward-thinking strategies. In my role, I apply my passion for brand, craft, and design fidelity to guide research, design and product processes, and collaborate with leaders to create innovative experiences across all of Property Finder’s products and services.

My role also involves growing the design and research teams through hiring, organising and mentoring talent. I do this by teaching both the soft and hard skills, as well as helping designers translate the objectives of product management and engineering into experiences customers love. I am passionate about the design craft and have a hands-on approach.
