The Founder Showcase is Silicon Valley’s leading international startup pitch event, helping pre-seed startups learn, launch, and connect to investors. On this interactive online event you can watch presentations from promising pre-seed startups from across the globe, and learn from world-leading venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. In addition, there are several networking sessions to connect with others. This event will be attended by hundreds of international angels, venture capitalists, media, entrepreneurs, and executives, and feature Patrick Riley (CEO of GAN, and Managing Director of GAN Ventures) as the Keynote Speaker.

About the Keynote Speaker: Patrick Riley, CEO of GAN, and Managing Director of GAN Ventures
Patrick Riley is the CEO of GAN which is a highly-curated community of independent accelerators, corporates, and investors. GAN connects startups to the human and financial resources they need so that entrepreneurs and the cities they call home become increasingly whole. He's also Managing Partner of GAN Ventures, the VC fund associated with GAN.

He started his career at the American Red Cross where he oversaw the COO's office as its Chief of Staff. Patrick left the Red Cross to manage the sales and operations for a venture-backed healthcare technology company that had a recent exit. Following his passion to support start-up companies around the world, Patrick joined Techstars, a well known tech accelerator, and oversaw its growth which included the development of GAN. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, bike riding, traveling, and skiing around Colorado.

  • Sidney N. Nakahodo: Founder & General Partner of Seldor Capital: Sidney N. Nakahodo is a leading authority in space investment and entrepreneurship. He is the founder and General Partner of Seldor Capital, a Venture Capital firm based in New York City that focuses on space technologies. He is a faculty member of Columbia University and was a fellow of Singularity University, in Silicon Valley, currently serving as the SU New York City Chapter co-ambassador. Sidney has been a cofounder of the New York Space Alliance (NYSA) and founder and adviser to multiple space startups. Previously he worked with public policy, private sector development, and carbon finance at the World Bank. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a B. Eng. in Materials Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). 
  • Bob Crimmins: Founder of Startup Haven, Managing Director of Startup Haven Ventures: Bob is a serial entrepreneur, frequent angel investor, and Founder/ Chief Instigator of the popular startup founder and investor network, Startup Haven. Startup Haven currently operates in Seattle, Portland, San Diego, San Franciscco, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles. Bob has founded or co-founded four venture-backed companies, including MoonTango, a personal care products shopping experience dedicated to the needs of women, iMedExchange, a value-add online social network exclusively for physicians. Bob is an active participant and organizer in the Seattle startup community and serves as a mentor to many accelerator programs, including Techstars, Alchemist, 9Mile Labs and others.
  • Nancy Brito: Partner at Semeia Ventures, Managing Partner at BIBA Venture Partners: Nancy Brito is the General Partner of Semeia Ventures, a Venture Capital based in Lisbon, Portugal and invests in Europe. She is a mentor in various ecosystems: Portugal, Spain, Italy, UK and Canada. In the last 10 years, she has raised early stage capital and helped with the scaling of more than 20 new businesses. Previous to Semeia Ventures, Nancy was a serial entrepreneur of 4 Tech Startups based in Lisbon with 2 exits and was an In-house Entrepreneur for the Portuguese Pharmacies eCommerce project that represented a $1 billion market. She studied computer science from University of Toronto, Canada and got an executive MBA from AESE/IESE University of Navarra, Spain. 
  • Zecca Lehn: Angel Investor: Zécca Lehn is an Angel Investor based in California, who backs US impact-focused startups in both Social and Sustainable Tech—using multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a guidepost per investment. Over the past 15+ years, he has worked as an Environmental Economist, Data Scientist, Non-Profit Board Member, and CoFounder. He grew up in an off-the-grid home, on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, in a Japanese inspired home. Through his world travels and living in Scandinavia during his early 20’s, he discovered a deep love for people, planet, and diverse cultures. For the past couple years, he has produced the podcast posi2ive, on Venture Scale Positive Impacts. He also leads regular community panels on Clubhouse– for posi2ive’s current community base of 3k+ members.
