About the Biomimicry Institute:The
Biomimicry Institute empowers people to create nature-inspired solutions for a healthy planet, with a goal of pushing biomimicry towards becoming a natural part of the design process. The Biomimicry Institute’s
Global Design Challenge mobilizes tens of thousands of practitioners with the support of the Global Biomimicry Network, and provides practitioners with
AskNature, a tool to begin the solution process. They support entrepreneurs in bringing their nature-inspired designs to market through the
Biomimicry Launchpad program and
Ray of Hope Prize, and anticipate the new biomimetic innovations that result will help to build a healthier world for all.
