Join us for an exciting event where we offer two kinds of lightning talks: 1) an academic researcher seeking to connect with software startups about particular phenomena and 2) software startups who seek to explain their business model and traction. In each brief presentation, we encourage speakers to share their interests, experiences, opinions, or ideas with the audience. The concept is that we will be able to engage in exciting areas of discussion, even if topics are difficult or even provocative. Each lightning talk can be a maximum 5 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A. Scroll to bottom of page for key instructions before registering.

To pre-submit your lightning talk pitch, please apply on this submission form. We will delete the information from the Google form the week after the event. If you need to delete your form prior to December 10th, please email dimitris.p@fimail.co

What is the Agenda?

Two lightning talks rounds as described above
Each lightning talk will be a maximum 5 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A.
Think of the 5-minute presentation as a ‘pitch’.
After the lightning talks, we will assist with matching academics and software startups via ‘dating’ sessions.
Note: There is no need to share slides in advance - but you’re welcome to share the slides with the audience if we approve your lightning talk.
