Recently, the FI team, along with a handful of founders, directors, and mentors, made their way down to Los Angeles to tour SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corporation) - a privately owned space launch company led by Elon Musk (CEO, Tesla).
On the tour we learned a ton about space travel and exploration, got to see rockets and spacecrafts being built right before our eyes, and even heard a few insights on entrepreneurship from Elon himself.

Right before the Founder Showcase on Wednesday we hosted a special luncheon with Windows 8. Over 50 guests attended this informative workshop, where Windows 8 experts reviewed how to design apps with Metro principles and the Windows personality, and the business opportunity Windows 8 represents for app developers.
Microsoft also gave away four Windows 8 Nokia Lumia phones to four lucky people!
