Mikhail Choo on Selling Gridblaze for Seven Figures within a Year of Graduation



Earlier this year, Founder Institute Graduate Gridblaze was acquired for a seven figure sum. This was a pretty amazing accomplishment for Mikhail Choo, the company's founder, who fully bootstrapped the company and sold it less than a year after graduating from the Singapore Founder Institute program.

Toyota Awards Santiago Grad, Girltank, $50k at New York Women in the World Summit

Earlier this month, Santiago Founder Institute graduate, girltank was honored at the Fourth Annual Women in the World Summit in New York. The social entrepreneurship startup was recognized as a “Mother of Innovation” and awarded a $50,000 grant by Toyota and featured on a segment of CBS News.

San Diego grad, CityBot set their sights high, and in return won the title of Best Overall Startup in VentureBeat's #WinSXSW Contest.
