The Early Application Deadline for the Chicago Summer 2017 Semester is coming up soon (2017-03-26).

If you could use expert training and advice to launch a technology startup in Chicago, then apply today.

In the Founder Institute's four-month, part-time program, promising startup entrepreneurs “learn by doing” and launch a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. Plus, aspiring founders are not required to quit their day job to participate, so they can begin building a business around their ideas without putting their livelihood at risk.

If you apply by the Early Application Deadline (2017-03-26), you get to take the Predictive Admissions Test for free ($50 value), and you are also eligible to receive one of several Chicago Founder Institute Fellowships:

The SV Entrepreneurs Fellowship is awarded to the most extraordinary applicant from the SV Entrepreneurs Community, giving them the opportunity to enroll in the Silicon Valley Founder Institute for free. The recipient will be recognized as somebody with the utmost potential to become a successful technology entrepreneur.

The Silicon Valley Founder Institute is excited to partner with an organization that shares our goal of fostering a strong local startup ecosystem: SV Entrepreneurs, Silicon Valley's largest entrepreneur and startup community. Through the SV Entrepreneurs Fellowship, everyone from the SV Entrepreneurs community is invited to apply to the Silicon Valley Founder Institute for free, and the best overall applicant from the community will receive a Fellowship to participate in the program for free as well.

The Founder Institute is committed to narrowing the gender gap in high tech startups. When we announced the Female Founder Fellowship program in 2011, only 16% of Founder Institute companies were founded by females. Since then, the results of this program have been astounding, as our overall number of female-founded companies has increased over 70%, to a total of approximately 35%. This is more than twice as high as most other accelerators. Learn more about the Female Founder Fellowship program here
