Last Chance to Help Bring the Founder Institute to Montreal

Posted by Jonathan Greechan on 2014-03-07

The Founder Institute, the World's Largest Startup Accelerator, is in the final stage of testing for the opening of its newest chapter in Montreal for the Spring of 2014.

The testing phase ends Sunday, March 9th, so if you'd like to help bring this great program to Montreal, please fill out this form today and then spread the word.

The Founder Institute is an early-stage startup accelerator and global launch network that, in just over four years of operation, has helped launch over 1000 companies across 55 cities and six continents. Through our part-time program, existing and prospective founders can launch their dream company with expert training, feedback, and support from experienced startup CEOs - while not being required to quit their day job.

Leading the Founder Institute’s efforts in Montreal are LP Maurice, CEO and co-founder of Busbud, a successful startup focused on intercity bustravel, who worked before in Silicon Valley with Yahoo and Linkedin; and Sergio A. Escobar, Global Facilitator for Startup Weekend and NEXT, former entrepreneur having launched startups in the e-commerce and mobile payment sectors and previously managed the hybrid-accelerator Angel Investors Challenge.

In this intensive, four month program, aspiring technology founders will "learn by doing" and launch a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. The Founder Institute is open to anybody that is passionate about building a technology company: idea or no idea, full-time job or unemployed, young or old, male or female, experienced in business or straight out of school.
