Adeo Ressi on the Success of the Istanbul Founder Institute and the Emerging Turkish Startup Ecosystem
During Adeo Ressi’s recent trip to Europe, he stopped in Istanbul to chat with local media channel, Webrazzi. During the interview, Adeo explained the basic tenants of the Founder Institute and highlighted notable Turkish founders. Adeo also commented on Turkey’s ability establish a flourishing startup ecosystem. He said, “if great companies get started, the whole ecosystem evolves very quickly... I believe the core building block of a great startup ecosystem is a great company”.
With the recent success of companies like Udemy and MovieLala, both established by founders of Turkish descent, Turkey is well on it’s way to becoming a prime hub for Angel Investors and establishing a strong startup culture.
