Every great company begins with one simple thing: an entrepreneur’s vision for something bigger than themselves. In this talk from the Puerto Rico Founder Institute, Marcos Polanco inspires founders to build a company that exemplifies their best skills and embodies their passions and values.

Marcos Polanco is the COO of iCare Medical, a leading biomedical corporation that specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of medical diagnostic devices.

To help guide entrepreneurs, Marcos suggests they ask themselves these three questions:

  • What do you do that never bores you?
  • What do you do that doesn't seem like work?
  • What are you doing when you are at your best?

Once a founder’s most prominent skills are identified, Marcos says “When your skills are aligned with your vision of your dream company, suddenly it all comes together...Forget the self-imposed limitations, the canvas you have to work with is boundless.”
