Madrid FI Director Miguel Galera Talks Plans for the 2013 Spring Semester with @Yorokobu Magazine

Posted by Amity Sims on 2012-11-29

As the launch of the second Madrid Founder Institute approaches, excitement is beginning to brew amongst entrepreneurs in Spain. Local director Miguel Galera recently met with David García of Yorokobu Magazine, to explain the basic premise of the Institute. In a piece entitled “Founder Institute: tutelando startups antes de que la idea salga del horno”, Galera explains why the Founder Institute is a choice option for budding entrepreneurs and how the Institute is a great asset to the local economy.

With the Spanish economy in a less than desirable state, Galera says that now is one of the best times for entrepreneurs to start a business. With a focus on creating viable business plans, enduring companies, and generating jobs, Founder Institute graduates are a valuable asset to both Spain and Europe as a whole. In a mere 3 years of operation, the Founder Institute has successfully launched over 650 companies, establishing thousands of careers and injecting life into startup ecosystems in over 35 cities worldwide. With the new year and Spring semesters right around the corner, the Institute plans to launch hundreds, perhaps thousands of new companies in 2013 - many of which will be right here in Spain.
