Adeo Ressi Interview with @BrianSolis: It’s Always Darkest Before the Dawn in Entrepreneurship
The Founder Institute's Adeo Ressi recently sat down in an interview with Brian Solis in his series Revolution to talk about his current and past endeavors as well as the basic premise of the Founder Institute. Based on Ressi’s reputation as an advocate for entrepreneurship and personal track record of founding 8 companies to date, Solis was intrigued with the tremendous amount of support Ressi has for the Silicon Valley community, and commended him on his ability to guide entrepreneurs to establish enduring and meaningful companies.
When asked to share his best advice for budding entrepreneurs, Ressi reminded them to stay true to the mission and customer value, “It truly is always darkest before the dawn in entrepreneurship. Don’t throw in the towel even when it seems the worst…it’s part of the journey of success.”
Ressi went on to say “You have to have deep and genuine love for everything that’s surrounding your business otherwise the hardship and struggle will just become unbearable...The biggest mistake I see entrepreneurs make is that they follow something they don’t truly love”.
