The Founder Institute is an early-stage startup accelerator and global launch network that, in just three years of operation, has helped launch over 650 companies across 34 cities and five continents. Through our part-time four month program, existing and prospective founders can launch their dream company with expert training, feedback, and support from experienced startup CEOs - while not being required to quit their day job. Our unique Graduate Liquidity Pool also enables graduates and mentors to share in the equity upside of each class, creating strong teamwork-based startup ecosystems where great companies can flourish. We call it "Globalizing Silicon Valley."

Riyadh is a prime market to launch a chapter of the Founder Institute. With a rapidly evolving culture of innovation and change, Riyadh has potential to become a strong tech leader in the Middle East. By creating a space to foster the developing technology scene, Saudis of all ages and backgrounds can dive into the world of ideas without hesitation, and build enduring and meaningful technology startups in Riyadh and beyond.  As Riyadh continues to experience significant cultural changes, traditional roadblocks are quickly becoming eradicated and opportunities for entrepreneurial innovation are rapidly becoming available to all persons. As this cultural shift evolves, accelerators like the Founder Institute can help nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity of Saudi citizens, and help put Riyadh on the map as a prime technology hot-spot.

The Riyadh chapter will be lead by local leaders Ahmad Al Kubair (CEO, Al-Raeda For Education Development) and Salem Bagami (Executive Director of the Saudi Tadawi Healthcare Company)
