Trinity Ventures’ @JamesCham Announced as Newest Member of the 12th #FounderShowcase Judging Panel

Posted by Jonathan Greechan on 2012-11-01

Today we are excited to announce the fourth member of our judging panel for the upcoming Founder Showcase, James Cham of Trinity Ventures

James Cham is a Principal at Trinity Ventures where he focuses on consumer services, social media, and digital media. Prior to joining Trinity in 2010, James was a Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners where he played active roles in numerous investments in consumer internet services and digital media sectors along with a number of seed investments. Before Bessemer, James was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group where he developed marketing strategies for entertainment and IT companies. Earlier, he built web applications for startups as a Principle at Zefer and developed IT systems for Fortune 500 companies as a software developer at Andersen Consulting.

"What I love about this job is the chance to help entrepreneurs create something great”, says James in regards to his role at Trinity,” New ventures never grow in a linear fashion; they accelerate, rev, stall, and pivot all the time.”

James Cham will be joining David Hornik, Katherine Barr, Noah Doyle, and one final member which will be announced tomorrow, on stage at the 12th Founder Showcase. These five Silicon Valley VCs will help us launch several early-stage startups to greatness as they provide feedback to our pitch competition participants.

The 12th Founder Showcase is scheduled to take place on November 7th in San Francisco, and in addition to the entertaining pitch competitions, guests will also hear talks from keynote speakers David Sacks (Founder & CEO of Yammer) and Justin Moore (Founder & CEO of Axcient). Don’t miss out on what promises to be a memorable event, and quite possibly, our best Showcase yet.

Tickets are still available but will sell out soon,  so purchase yours today and in the mean time, to hear more from James be sure to follow him on Twitter @JamesCham
