- Denver Grad @Blogmutt Announces Funding from FI Directors (FI): Blogmutt, an FI Denver Grad, helps business bloggers curate and generate original, weekly blog content at a pre-determined monthly rate. The startup recently received $250,000 in funding from local technology magnates. Read the press release here. Blogmutt and its founders are Graduates of the Denver Founder Institute.
- San Fran FI Grad @Piggybackr demos at AngelPad Spring 2012 Demo Day (TechCrunch): Piggybackr, a fundraising platform aimed at helping young people raise money for their schools, sports teams, and extracurricular projects more effectively, was one of the ten startups that demoed at the AngelPad Spring 2012 Demo Day. Piggybackr and its founder are Graduates of the San Francisco Founder Institute.
- DC FI Grad @ArtNestInc wins the $50K National Business Moms Grant (MIBN): Tara Coles, founder of ArtNest, a startup that connects artists with art lovers and collectors from across the globe, secured $50,000 in funding from The National Association for Moms in Business. Coles and ArtNest are graduates of the Washington D.C. Founder Institute.
