The Melbourne Silicon Beach Fellowship is awarded to the most extraordinary applicant from the Silicon Beach Community, giving them the opportunity to enroll in the Melbourne Founder Institute for free. The recipient will be recognized as somebody with the utmost potential to become a successful technology entrepreneur.


The Melbourne Founder Institute is excited to partner with an organization that shares our goal of fostering a strong local startup ecosystem: Silicon Beach, an informal group for anyone interested in founding or working in startups, dev/design in web/mobile tech, IoT, freelancing, investing or working with people in that space. Through the Silicon Beach Fellowship, everyone from the Silicon Beach community is invited to apply to the Melbourne Founder Institute for free, and the best overall applicant from the community will receive a Fellowship to participate in the program for free as well ($1599 value).


Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the Silicon Beach Fellowship for the Melbourne 2016 Semester, you must complete your application and admissions test by September 6, 2016, using this link.


Grant: The recipient of the Silicon Beach Fellowship will be awarded within 5 days after the deadline.

Founder Institute Partners with Web Directions to offer a Special Fellowship

As we launch the Melbourne Autumn 2014 Founder Institute, we are excited to announce a partnership with Web Directions, a conference platform for leading web experts.

Through this partnership, members of the Web Directions community can apply to the program for free ($50 value), and the most extraordinary applicant from the community will be awarded the Web Directions Fellowship, giving them the opportunity to enroll in the program for free ($1100 value). The recipient will be recognized as somebody with the utmost potential to become a successful technology entrepreneur.

In order to be eligible for the Web Directions Fellowship for the Autumn 2014 Melbourne Semester, you must complete your application and admissions test by the Early Application Deadline (2014-04-20), using this link

The recipient of the Fellowship will be awarded within 72 hours after the Early Application Deadline.

  

 

In the Founder Institute's four-month, part-time program, promising startup entrepreneurs “learn by doing” and launch a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. Plus, aspiring founders are not required to quit their day job to participate, so they can begin building a business around their ideas without putting their livelihood at risk.
