Zirtual, the company that provides dedicated, virtual executive assistants ("Zirtual Assistants") to busy professionals and entrepreneurs – for less than a car payment – is coming out of its invite-only beta today and is now available to the public. Zirtual and its Co-Founder & CEO, Maren Kate Donovan, are Graduates of the Silicon Valley Founder Institute

News of the launch was covered by TechCrunch in an article by Ryan Lawler entitled, Zirtual Opens Up To Allow Anyone To Hire Their Own Personal Assistants

After three years of being invite-only, Zirtual Assistants (ZAs) have fulfilled more than half a millions tasks for clients ranging from Fortune 500 executives to busy parents all over the world. The company is backed by Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, VegasTechFund, and Mayfield Fund.

“We want to change the way the world works, not just for our clients, but for our assistants too. By expanding our service to accommodate more clients, we are creating a new job market for people to be able to work virtually, while helping everyone from entrepreneurs to busy moms to be more productive.” - Maren Kate Donovan

Zirtual pairs clients with their own dedicated ZA so that they can build a one-on-one relationship with them, enabling them to know their clients likes and preferences at a fraction of the cost of a full-time executive assistant ($54K/year). Clients can assign a task via email, phone, or through an online Zirtual dashboard and their ZA is on it, helping them to work and live more efficiently. Every ZA is US-based and goes through a rigorous training. They specialize in thoroughness and attention to detail.
