The Founder Institute startup accelerator opened in New York in 2010, and since then, it has helped launch nearly 70 new technology companies. While all of our grads are exceptional, there are a few who stand out. The graduates profiled below have all achieved significant milestones, building meaningful and enduring technology companies aimed at improving the lives of people all over the world.

Kindara is a fertility platform that helps women manage their reproductive health and get pregnant. The now Boulder, CO based startup recently raised a $370k round from various angel investors, and has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Women 2.0 and more. Zipmark builds infrastructure that enables instant and secure mobile payments and eliminates the need for checks. The startup has raised $3.5m in funding and has been featured on numerous media channels, including Entrepreneur.com, GigaOm, and more. Click here to learn more about Zipmark.

 

SimpleReach tracks every social action on each piece of published content to deliver detailed insights and clear metrics around social behavior. After a pivot in 2012, the startup raised over $3m in funding and has been featured on TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and countless other tech blogs. Click here to learn more about SimpleReach.

 

WishBeans is a Pinterest style, super easy to use online shopping and wish list service. Shortly after launch, the startup merged with Trendalytics, a platform that helps consumer products companies measure what merchandise trends resonate with consumers pre-production. Earlier this year, Trendalytics was one of 25 finalists for the WSJ Startup of the Year Award.

 

Miigo is an event-planning site that provides a platform for Brazilian users to easily create and distribute online invites as well as sell and buy tickets for events of any size. After graduating from the New York Founder Institute, Miigo took the the Brazilian market and launched their online event platform. Click here to learn more about Miigo.
