The Founder Institute startup accelerator opened in Southeast Asia in 2010, and since then, it has helped launch nearly 150 new technology companies across our chapters in Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and more. 

While all of our grads are exceptional, there are a few who stand out. The graduates profiled below have all achieved significant milestones, building meaningful and enduring technology companies aimed at improving the lives of people all over the world.

Appota helps mobile developers to distribute applications and games fast & effectively to millions mobile users. The fast-growing startup has gained recognition in Asia and abroad. They were recently named Vietnam’s most promising startup at the HCMC Tech Startup Conference.


Gridblaze is a Storage As A Service platform that provides a global proximity based storage network for developers to create smart applications. Founded in 2012 by Mikhail Choo, the startup quickly gained traction and was acquired in less than 12 months for an undisclosed, "7 figure" amount.

 

Vibease is a wearable smart vibrator controlled by Android & iPhone. The Singapore startup quickly gained notoriety when their first product launch raised more than 6x their goal on indiegogo. Vibease’s impressive success has been featured on many blogs, and they were a finalist for a Crunchie

 

Pouch offers a rewards-based mobile platform for businesses looking to nurture a loyal customer base by leveraging mobile. With headquarters in Singapore and a regional office in Jakarta, Pouch already has a presence in over 25 shopping malls in Jakarta alone, representing over 70 brands. 

 

Innoviet is a leading travel planning website in Vietnam, helping visitors book hotels and excursions. The Ho Chi Minh City based startup has been recommended by leading travel sites such as Lonely Planet, Le Guide de Routard, and Trip Advisor. 

 

Jagad is Indonesia’s #1 rental car and travel marketplace. The Jakarta, Indonesia based company has received rave reviews and has been featured on Tech in Asia, Warta Ekonomi, Startup Bisnis, and many more. Click here to learn more about Jagad.
