An exciting new e-learning platform Kyna.vn is the first tech startup in Vietnam to receive substantial funding from CyberAgent Ventures. They have received an undisclosed amount from the Japanese investment firm, but CyberAgent Ventures has a southeast Asia fund worth 50 million dollars. This noteworthy new learning service was founded by a Graduate of the Ho Chi Minh City Founder Institute, Minh Nguyen. The last companies who received funding from the firm's first southeast Asia fund, Tiki.vn, Foody.vn, and batdongsan, all did extremely well after backing from the powerful Japanese firm, making Kyna.vn's round of funding all the more promising.

Kyna.vn offers Vietnamese learners online courses in a number of different areas of study taught by experts in those fields. Students are able to take classes at any time of the day that works best for them so that they can continue to learn even while they are working and fulfilling other commitments that may conflict with a traditional university schedule.

A big concern with online learning platforms is that there is no way to interact with professors and other students. This aspect is crucial to the learning process. Kyna.vn understands the importance of being able to interact with your teachers and fellow students, so they integrated a powerful chat tool that allows students to talk with one another and their professors. This helps them understand the lessons and exercises more thoroughly and in the end learn more than they would have working on their own.

While there is a fee to take courses with Kyna.vn, the service also has various perks and offers for students who complete their work. Kyna.vn awards students Kpoints for every exercise they successfully complete. These points can then be redeemed for text books or vouchers to take more courses with Kyna.vn. With the very real expense of books and courses this reward system is not only innovative but a big financial help for students who want to take a lot of different courses.

Currently, Kyna.vn has garnered more than 200,000 users from Vietnam alone who are taking courses with them. On top of the impressive enrollment numbers they have shown early on, Kyna.vn also boasts over 100 expert faculty members who have written and published 200 courses in essential fields like digital marketing, business, sales, entrepreneurship, and communication skills. Not only does Kyna.vn offer great incentives for their students, they also offer them world-class faculty members to teach them.

A quote from the company really puts their whole mission in perspective, "In order to provide the most convenient learning method for learners while maintaining learning effectiveness, Kyna.vn has put quality as our mission and also our unique selling point. We commit to refund if learners do not find our course valuable to them."

Kyna.vn plans to use the money from Japanese investment firm CyberAgent Ventures to increase the number of courses they offer to 1,000 or more. Plus, they are looking into hiring more expert teachers from reputable institutions abroad so that there is more diversity when it comes to courses offered and the teachers that teach them.
