VSee is a simple video chat, medical sensor, and remote lab telemedicine system. In this event, Chen will describe how he created VSee for astronauts and how all video communication from the NASA International Space Station is done by VSee. Chen will also describe how VSee is used in Iraq and Africa, and how it can be applied to Vietnam. Then, Chen will share his insights of what he learned as a first-time Silicon Valley startup CEO. As a Stanford Ph.D. student in human computer interaction, he knew zero about creating a company. He will share his experience raising investment, contacting billionaires, hiring and managing a distributed team, doing sales and marketing, and working with celebrities. He will conclude with life lessons he learned during his startup journey.
