This session consists of three parts: (1) In the first part, Andreas Weigend, the former Chief Scientist of Amazon.com, will share his insights into the ingredients of a sound data strategy, central to successful internet / mobile companies where users contribute amazing amounts of data useful for the company if they perceive value for themselves. (2) In the second part, Anthony Coundouris, Phalgun Raju, and Paul Whiteway will give practical advice on what angel investors and venture capitalists expect from your financial model, and what set of metrics they like to see. (3) In the third part, all instructors will combine forces and address how data can be monetized, what to do, what not to do for the long-term success of your company. This is a unique opportunity to hear several perspectives on how to write the equation of your company in customer-centric terms
